Kay Premium Marking Films has signalled its intention to be
a major global player in all sectors of the self-adhesive graphic
vinyls market by triggering a radical expansion in its range
of speciality films.
First off the launch pad is a comprehensive portfolio of rectro-reflective
vinyls for the production of emergency vehicle safety markings,
commercial vehicle liveries and road signs, which offers a wide
range of performance characteristics to suit different end-use
applications.
Top of the range are the K84000 Series "Conspicuity" films which
have been developed to meet the exacting requirements of the
police, ambulance and associated emergency services for vehicle
graphics that provide the optimum in reflectivity.
K84000 Series films are manufactured in two grades - "Daybright
Conspicuity" and "Standard Conspicuity" - and in all those colours
which are contemporary use for safety and hazard markings. Both
grades are supplied with high-performance permanent solvent
acrylic adhesive and are available in printable versions, which
offer a five-year all-weather life, and non-printable versions,
offering a seven-year life.
For rectro-reflective road signs, Kay Premium Marking Films
has introduced the K84220 Series vinyls in a range of seven
colours. These engineering grade films provide a seven-year
outdoor life and are, again coated with a permanent solvent
acrylic adhesive for optimum durability.
To meet the increasing demand by commercial fleet operators
for reflective livery components - for both brand promotional
and safety purposes - KPMF has rounded off its rectro-reflective
Package with the K84210 Series films. Again available in seven
colours - blue, brown, green, orange, red, yellow and white/silver
- and supplied with a solvent acrylic adhesive, these commercial
grade materials offer a five-year all-weather life.
