Customer Service & Marketing

KPMF's Customer Service and Marketing department is made up of an established team who is responsible for managing all requirements for our global network of distributors.

The Customer Service Department receives and processes customer orders, with customers being kept well informed of stock availability and despatch details during the process. All colour match requests and the supply of material samples and trial rolls are handled by the Customer Service Department.

KPMF's Marketing Department carry out customer and product research to ensure the product portfolio is kept up to date. They take care of promotional activities, the marketing of new products, the production of sales and marketing literature, organization of exhibitions, implementation of customer surveys along with the analysis of feedback and all advertising and PR activity.

Overall the Customer Service and Marketing Department is the recognized customer contact within KPMF. Comments are noted, questions answered, solutions to problems found and requests met whenever possible. If answers are not immediately available within the Customer Service and Marketing Department then other departments within KPMF are consulted and answers found.


KPMF-Racks.jpgKPMF's Manufacturing Department is made up of around 50 members of staff who are responsible for the manufacture of adhesive coated products to the required specification, at a competitive cost whilst meeting customers' requested delivery time.

Using the quality systems in place under TS16949 the team acts as a whole to achieve internal goals and produce a superior product that meets all specifications and ensures that customers experience a trouble-free operation and a reliable product.

The Manufacturing Department is made up of a number of functions: scheduling and planning, the purchasing of raw materials, logistics, shipping, and not forgetting production where teams are allocated to manage and operate the coater, the mixing room, the slitter, goods inward and despatch.


KPMF's Finance Department are responsible for maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers always ensuring their accuracy.

They have a degree of interaction with customers, providing banking details for payment of accounts and pro forma invoices. Credit control is also a function of the department as occasionally it is necessary to chase payments from our customers. It is of prime importance that suppliers are paid on time to maintain the supply of raw materials necessary to produce KPMF's products. The finance department also carries out procedures that are kept internal such as the weekly wages, monthly salaries and personnel duties.

Monthly management accounts are produced at the end of each month along with any reports and returns required by HMRC.

Quality Department

KPMF's Quality Department consists of 9 employees who work within the Quality Department at KPMF.

The Quality department takes care of:-

  1. Incoming raw material testing

  2. Customer complaint process, logging and investigation of any customer complaints received

  3. Facilitating the corrective action process identifying root cause analysis and verification

  4. Facilitating Continuous Improvement process

  5. Supplier non-conformance process, reporting and controlling non-conforming raw materials

  6. Document control

  7. Finished product testing

Quality provide support to the manufacturing departments to achieve good Quality products, assisting with the tools and techniques required to achieve the output required to satisfy the customer’s needs whether this be internal or external.

Auditing is carried out against internal processes and procedures to maintain KPMF's current quality accreditations IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2004.  We maintain, monitor and control any document changes required within the business system.


KPMF's Laboratory are responsible for technical, research and new product development operations at KPMF.

The laboratory oversees the development of innovative and new products that keep KPMF at the forefront of the self adhesive vinyl market. All customer colour match requests are processed and customer specific product development is completed in the laboratory.

Using the quality systems in place under TS16949, ISO 14001 and ISO9001 the team acts as a whole to meet internal goals and produce products that meet customer requirements and are appropriate for the specific end use.
